Cupcake Baker's Pantry

With these basic items, you can make and decorate a batch of cupcakes in a snap.

Equipment:

• Cupcake pans (mini and regular)
• Paper baking cups available in a variety of colors and prints.  Find them in supermarkets, party, craft or specialty cake decorating stores.
• Resealable food-storage plastic bags for piping icings and glazes.

Staples:

• Boxed cake mixes in a variety of flavors.
• Ready-to-spread frostings.
• Decorating icing, assorted colors.
• Decorating gels, assorted colors.
• Food colors (liquid, gel or paste). Try paste food color for more vivid color frosting.
• Assorted colored sugars and edible glitters.
• Assorted candy sprinkles.

Baking Pans
A box of cake mix makes 24 to 30 cupcakes in regular-size cupcake pan.  There are also pans that have mini, large and jumbo cups.

Mini		1 3/4 x 1 inches
Regular		2 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches
Large		2 3/4 x 1 1/4 inches
Jumbo		3 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches

If you have only one pan and a recipe calls for more cupcakes than your pan will make, just cover and refrigerate the rest of the batter while baking the first batch.  Cool the pan about 15 minutes, then bake the rest of the batter, adding 1 to 2 minutes to the bake time.

An easy way to fill baking cups is to use an ice cream scoop.  Use one that measures out 1/3 cup batter when filling regular-size cups. Use one that measures out 2 tablespoons batter when filling mini cups.


Frosting Tips

• Carefully dip tops of cupcake into the frosting, give a slight twist and remove.  Finish off with a swirl of a knife if needed.
• Dip frosted cupcakes into bowls of nuts, colored sugar, sprinkles, or other decors for easy decorating. 

How to Store Cupcakes

1. Cool cupcakes completely before covering to keep tops from becoming sticky (about 30 minutes).
2. Cover cupcakes that will be frosted later loosely so the tops stay dry. If covered tightly, they become sticky and difficult to frost.
3. Store cupcakes with a creamy-type frosting loosely covered with foil, plastic wrap or waxed paper or under a cake safe or inverted bowl
4. Refrigerate cupcakes with whipped cream toppings or cream fillings.
5. Frost cupcakes with fluffy frosting on the day they are to be served.
6. Freeze cupcakes two to three months, tightly wrapped.
7. To prevent frosting on frosted cupcakes from sticking, freeze cupcakes uncovered 1 hour, then insert a toothpick in the top of the cupcake, and tightly wrap.
8. Thaw cupcakes in the refrigerator or on the countertop.
9. When thawing on the countertop, loosen or remove wrapping to prevent condensation.
10. Decorating gel, hard candies and colored sugars do not freeze well because they tend to run during thawing.

Facebook

Nowadays, facebook become one of the most popular among social networks as almost all of you know it was founded by Mark Zuckerberg and was launched in 2007. As every single thing in our lives Facebook also has its own advantages and disadvantages(pros/cons). Let’s start from the  Advantages‘  list:

• It’s a virtual place, where people can stay in touch with their friends, acquaintances, relatives, who may be live in other country, city, street, or the next door.
• You can like different useful for you pages, be a member of some interesting groups. Thus you can be informed of many new events: it can be new scholarship programmers, job vacancies, social project and so on and on.                                     
• You can have fun with your friends and add some positiveness to your mood just by commenting some collective photo. 
  

I would say the biggest advantage of Facebook social network is being an area, where different companies, firms from various sphere can put their advertisements, introduction about their companies. I do believe that in such an active, crowded with warm atmosphere place their attempt won’t be unnoticed.

I would continue writing some more advantages, but i guess it’s time for Disadvantages, thus: 

•  FB contains too much information about its user’s life, and spreading that a big info can be harmful and even dangerous for you.                                                                                        
• If u get  involved in FB too much, it can take most part of your time, so u won’t feel how so many hours have passed in such a short (for you) period of time 
• Be careful! You can be infected with FB virus. Then almost every minute of your life you would like to enter to your profile and share every your little action, as some of my friends do.      

      Well, i just tried to imagine some Pros and Cons of Facebook, that start being the main part of our lives. Social networks add some pattern to our daily life. These patterns’ narrows, colors are various, so it all depends on a person, how the one considers it.

Mukaddimah

Assalamualaikum...pembuka bicara. Nk kate baru, takde la baru sangat aku dengan blog ni. Boleh dikatekan blog ni yang kedua la aku create. Blog yang mula-mula aku create tu khas untuk assingment je, tapi kali ni INSYALLAH untuk assingment dan hiburan aku dan rakan-rakan...hehehehe. Sebenarnya, aku tak ade idea nak menulis malam-malam ni, tapi untuk permulaan aku nak cite sikit tentang kehidupan aku dan rakan-rakan tersayang.

Yg tengah tu namenye huda dan sorang lagi tu mazura. Kalau korang nak tahu, favourite kami bertiga ni same je, suke jalan-jalan. sepanjang berada di UUM, kami sentiasa meluangkan mase bersama-sama untuk menghabiskan hari minggu. Tapi ape yang paling best adalah trip kiteorg ke Pulau Langkawi...kat bawah ni ade serba sedikit gambar kiteorg pergi melancong...hehehe

Ni jelah untuk mukaddimah...ade bnyak lagi cerite yang nak dikongsi... tunggu sambungannya pada masa akan datang...ok, bye bye...
